Last night Microsoft released a 'fix' for the much publicized 'Zero-Day' exploit that was recently found to be present in all versions of Internet Explorer. If it was not automatic or you have not done it already please stop NOW and process Microsoft updates.

And there's good news for users of Windows XP. Both Internet Explorer 8.0 and Microsoft Security Essentials for Windows XP have been updated. The former to (An unexpected gift) fix this particular exploit even though Microsoft has otherwise terminated service.

If you have questions or concerns about these updates please let us know, but barring that it is SAFE to routinely use Internet Explorer again, but please do keep a second browser installed and updated just-in-case this happens again to either of them...
